Glyph Manager works over eSATA only under certain conditions:
1. On Mac laptops running OS X when connected to the FirmTek SeriTek/2SM2-E ExpressCard Adapter
2. On Windows XP, Vista, and 7 machines with motherboards that include onboard eSATA
In the above scenarios, Glyph Manager will monitor the health of your Glyph RAID, but will not allow you to change drive modes. If you are trying to change the drive mode, the easiest way is to connect via FireWire or USB, change the drive mode, then connect back to eSATA. The Glyph RAID will remember the mode no matter which port you use: FireWire, USB or eSATA.
