Occasionally the permissions of the Glyph Manager application needs to be re-set, and will result in the application failing to open. You can check the permissions by doing this:
From the finder, click on the Go drop down menu, and select Go to Folder
type /usr into the field and click Go
Open the local folder, then the lib folder, then find the file named libhpt.dylib
Get info on this file by selecting File -> Get Info
In the Get Info window, look under Sharing and Permissions and look at the permissions of the various users. They should read:
system: read & write
staff:read & write
wheel: read only
everyone: read only
Change permissions to match the above, and the problem should be solved.
