Currently Glyph Manager does not support 64-bit Mac operating systems. The symptom is when connected with Firewire, Glyph Manager will not recognize your drive, but your drive will appear mounted to your desktop. You must either eject your drive and reconnect with USB, or reboot your computer in 32-bit.
You can boot into 32-bit mode by holding down the number 3 and number 2 upon startup. Your system will function exactly the same, however Glyph Manager will now be able to see your drive. To reboot in 64-bit, simply restart the computer. By default, it will boot into 64-bit. Should you begin to experience problems or the LEDs on your drive flash red (GT-062E) or amber (ForteRAID), reconnect via USB OR boot in 32-bit, check the drive status in Glyph Manager, and call our Tech Support department.
